Sharing and reproducibility
Export workspace writes a JSON file with the source revision, analysis time, image names and SHA-256 hashes, native-pixel selections, every panel’s parameters and computed results, and the panel layout. Images stay on your device and are not embedded in the JSON.
To restore, open the workspace on a fresh page and select Import workspace. Bundled example images reload automatically. For local files, select Reopen images and choose the originals. The workspace checks file hashes, recomputes every panel and reports whether the results match the saved ones. If a hash differs, select the original file.
Copy link packs the same workspace, without computed results, into a URL. Opening it restores the selections, panels and layout, then asks the recipient to reopen any local images. Links to bundled examples work as they are.
Each panel exports its table as CSV and its plot or images as a 300 DPI PNG. PSNR / SSIM and ROI contrast figures show every image with its selections, a magnified inset and its metrics. PNG in the viewer toolbar saves the viewer as shown. CSV and PNG files carry the source revision.
Export methods writes a paragraph with the analyses, parameters, source revision and citation. Export protocol turns the workspace into a reusable protocol for the Python package, which can also replay the JSON on the original files.
Use the JSON file alongside a paper’s figures and tables. It records exact coordinates and values, while the link is convenient for sharing an analysis setup. If the code or source images have changed, rerun the analysis and keep both result versions rather than treating them as identical.
Session JSON files saved by the former single-tool pages still import: each becomes one workspace analysis that measures exactly the same pixels.
